Innovative, creative and always a little playful!  

Developing new ideas, creating innovative products and always setting new trends – that’s what Depesche is all about. Our passion is to make children’s eyes light up with colourful creative products and innovative toys, and to inspire people with high-quality trend products.

With TOPModel, Miss Melody, Ylvi, Dino World + ACTION and Princess Mimi, children in no less than 47 countries are immersed in the fantastic worlds of catwalk models, horses and riding stables, rainbow-coloured unicorns and the prehistoric age of dinosaurs. That makes us happy, and we grow from it.

Depesche, a company with Danish background, was originally founded as a manufacturer of greeting cards in 1985. Today we are one of Europe’s leading suppliers of greeting cards and gifts.

Our love for detail

We firmly believe that our love for detail and our own high quality standards are making our products as strong and popular as they are. Our team of illustrators will not allow a single TOPModel, T.Rex or unicorn to go out into the world that has not been created with enthusiasm, finished with the minutest details and passed our test of excellence. No product will leave our developmental stages without having first met our highest quality standards as well as those set by the relevant certified inspection facilities. Almost each day new designs for our adorable fantasy creatures are being dreamed up to ensure the imaginative worlds of our horse-loving children and young princesses will remain exciting and entertaining for years to come. Only this way children can discover and develop their very own happiness and curiosity as well as find an abundance of creativity and fun in playing with our products, and only this way parents can be at ease with watching their children grow up with Depesche. This is why we are here, and this is what spurs us on every day!

Our secret recipe

Our company headquarters in Geesthacht are the birthplace of thousands of product ideas and designs, leading to the development of 400 new products every year, amounting to more than 200,000 boxes being shipped to toy stores and gift shops as well as grocery stores in Germany, Europe and the whole world. This does not happen all by itself. From first product ideas and initial illustration and design drafts to marketing, distribution and shipment – all steps, the manufacturing being the only exception, are taken in-house. For this we have a 10-person team in our product development section, up to 35 creative heads working in our design and illustration department, more than 120 highly motivated staff in sales force, 40 people in our back office and 115 employees forming our logistics team – we simply love insourcing!
